Introducing here what many feel the best blend of power, response, and ease of fitment and our first step utilizing RS6 turbine housings for greater flow and power. TTE600 Performance turbochargers can and do make over 600PS with the right hardware and software, yet offer only a little loss in response but offer big step too more power. These really do offer a great balance of high power and fast response.
Engineered & Enhanced
TTE600 Turbochargers start life as Genuine RS6 K04 OE units. Engineered and enhanced using mostly BorgWarner components. TTE600 uses RS4 compressor covers that we CNC machine in house to an optimum clearance to allow fitment and maintain the efficiency of a larger more advanced billet TTE2280X Extended tip compressor wheels, inducer 45.1mm exducer 59.4mm. We also as standard CNC mill the air inlet port on the compressor housing to remove a lip right before the compressor wheel to smooth the transition to the intake pipes to maximise performance.
The 2280X compressor wheel design features promote greater airflow using a low inertia wheel that performs like a wheel of even greater size and mass. Extended tip technology enables the user to have faster spool-up at lower engine speeds while providing high boost with less heat for the powerful top-end performance.
Turbine and shaft are original RS6 K04 size items with a special curved clip. A TTE grinding process to the turbine blade tips, to reduce area, thus increasing gas flow and so reduce back pressure and lowering exhaust gas temperatures, allowing safer higher boost level’s.
This process also gives a secondary advantage of removing some material, lightening the turbine thus reducing the rotational mass improving moment of inertia. Stock being around 136gram and TTE clipped around 126gram.
Special profile 360 deg high-performance motorsport journal bearing are fitted, to remain durable at higher loads with no loss in transient response.
Actuators used are uprated sprung OE units fitted with our reinforced clamps for trouble-free operation.
Precisely balancing our turbochargers is a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance improves acoustics also. Subsequent great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieving our balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts machine, then components are assembled and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with serial numbered balance test result document.

These turbochargers use K04 RS4 B5 compressor housings RS4 B5 specific turbo intake pipes are required. The turbine housings are RS6 C5 specific, so flange on downpipe is needed to match. They do not work with RS4 B5 specific downpipes but these can be adapted with use of a RS6 flange.
